BREAKING: Tchaikovsky Concerto July 2014

Martha Argerich is scheduled to perform the Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Verbier Festival Orchestra with their Music Director, Charles Dutoit.

COMING SOON: A New Mozart CD Release from Argerich!

As you may remember, Martha Argerich teamed up with her longtime chum Claudio Abbado and his young Orchestra Mozart for a few concerts earlier this year in Lucerne to play works that are not on her regular concert menu; Mozart's piano concertos KV 466 and KV 503.

Argerich returns to Buenos Aires

Nine years after her last performances in Buenos Aires, Martha Argerich will finally return to the city of her birth, Buenos Aires, for two concerts at the legendary Teatro Colón in August 2014. In both concerts she will be accompanied by her childhood friend Daniel Barenboim. The first concert on 3 August will feature her as a soloist with Barenboim's West-Eastern Divan Orchestra and two days later, Barenboim will join her in a piano duo concert.

Paris Concerts Oct 2013 Online

The Paris concerts with Martha Argerich and friends with the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne on 21 and 22 October were filmed for television, and they are available for on-demand streaming until 21 April 2014. Enjoy!

November is the month of the duo for Martha Argerich. After playing two concerts in Bremen and Hannover with her friend Lilya Zilberstein, she will embark on a 6-city tour of Switzerland, Germany, Austria, France and Spain with another old friend, violinist Gidon Kremer, performing works by Weinberg and Beethoven.
