As you may remember, Martha Argerich teamed up with her longtime chum Claudio Abbado and his young Orchestra Mozart for a few concerts earlier this year in Lucerne to play works that are not on her regular concert menu; Mozart's piano concertos KV 466 and KV 503.
Even if you were not among the fortunate who were able to experience the concerts live, you needn't worry. As I reported in May, Deutsche Grammophon recorded both works for a later release. I can now confirm that the CD will be released in February 2014!
