First of all, apologies for the lack of recent posts! Work has been keeping me away from updating the blog, but here is a new post to (hopefully) make up for it!
The twelfth edition of Progetto Martha Argerich will feature the pianist in familiar repertoire that she has not performed in recent times, including Beethoven's second cello sonata, Schubert's wonderful "Arpeggione" sonata, as well as a surprise outing of Tchaikovsky's piano trio, which Argerich has not played in quite a while.

ReplyDeletela única novedad es Romeo y Julieta .Pasan los años y de hecho no hay ninguna novedad en el repertorio de esta insigne y genial pianísta.Estaba el cuarto de Beethoven ,pero ella sigue todavía impresionada por la versión de Claudio Arrau cuando niña...Una pena.no?

DeleteI went to the Manchester concert - it was Wonderful indeed! The encore was the seventh piece from Schumann's Fantasiestücke op. 12, "Traumes Wirren".
