ReplyDeleteI'm very old and since the late 192's I've heard them all : Rachmaninof,Backhaus,Arrau, Gieseking,Hoffman,Lippati,Rubinstein,Horowitz,Richter ,etc,etc There is no doubt in my mind that Martha Argerich is the gratest pianist that I ever heard ,not only of the 20th century but perhaps in history
